Driving Safety: Winter Weather

As we are all aware, winter weather is coming. It’s a good time to remind you to take extra care in driving. Rain, fog and wind will make driving a challenge. Coupled with the increased traffic in our area, it’s a good idea to allow for extra time when you head out to an appointment or running personal errands.

Keep your eyes on the road, put down that cell phone, and pay attention. Children should be safely buckled in before you start that car. Keep games, puzzles or other interesting things for them to do while you are driving.

Remember, it’s a good idea to check tires for proper pressure, change the oil, and do a routine maintenance prior to the bad weather setting in.

Be safe out there.
